MUST water technology AG is an innovative dynamic technology company for sustainable wastewater treatment in the field of circle economy. The start-up company was founded in Winterthur, Switzerland in 2014, focused on demanding industrial-wastewater and process water, which can be reused in their process-cycle as purified process water.
The abbreviation MUST steht für „Molecular Unique Separation Technology“ und verweist auf die Ursprungs-Technologie mit molekularem Abwasser-Reinigungsverfahren. Das mit Partnern weiterentwickelte und geschützte Verfahren ist unter dem Name ECtop (EC for Electro-Coagulation)
In the course of the rollout of the technology, an efficient and proven separation process was also integrated at MUST. The PreSep-process can be used as an efficient and space-saving primary treatment for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment.
The MUST system partner model is in cooperation with leading component and system suppliers. MUST's system partners are market and technology leaders such as Endress + Hauser AG (Switzerland), Stübbe GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), plating electronic GmbH (Germany), Kima Automatisierung GmbH (Germany), Käser Kompressoren (Germany)
In the areas of process development as well as research-related topics, MUST cooperates with the company NOAH water solutions bvba from Belgium and their cooperation with the University of Gent. NOAH and MUST are joint development partners in the field of EC technology development. In addition, NOAH is also the sales and distribution partner in the Benelux countries.
For the international rollout, MUST has developed a licence and partnership model, which is intended to enable customers worldwide, to find local partners in the market.
